You are invited to sign up for the Stand Against Racism Challenge (previously known as the 21-Day Challenge). Registration is live (just select “Central Maine” as your YWCA in the drop down) and Challenge emails will be sent for 21 days beginning April 4, 2022. But you have to register to get these emails!

If you aren’t familiar with the Challenge, see the attached flyers below (SAR 22 and SAR More Info) for more information on what to expect and why you should participate. Please note that YWCA USA has included new topics and all new content this year, so even if you participated before, you are encouraged to again!

We strongly encourage you to check it out. It is a great resource to better understand and think critically about race, racism, equity, and justice—and the roles we play as individuals and a community. We have other events that we are currently publicizing as part of our 2022 Stand Against Racism, if they might be of interest (both will fall in line with weekly themes of the Challenge so they pair nicely together). Flyers are attached below (Telling Our Own Stories and SAR 2022 Keynote) and all programs, including those related to social justice, are detailed on our website. All programs are free, virtual, and open to the public.
