This is a reminder that the Maine Continuum of Care (MCOC) will host a REQUIRED Bidder’s Conference on August 24, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM via Ring Central Teleconferencing for eligible entities interested in applying for funding through the HUD 2022 Supplemental NOFO (Please note: this is for the Supplemental NOFO only – not the regular Continuum of Care NOFO application process).

To join the Bidder’s Conference , please click this link at 1:00 on the afternoon of August 24th:

The Meeting ID number is: 023656292 and the Password is: NOFO

Because the Supplemental NOFO is very different from our regular application process, MCOC is REQUIRING that someone from each applicant agency attend this Bidder’s Conference – applications from agencies that did not attend the Bidder’s Conference will not be considered for funding. Someone from your agency must attend if you wish to apply!

The MCOC intends to pursue funding under the Rural Set Aside portion of the Supplemental NOFO. As detailed in HUD’s Notice, and the MCOC RFP for this opportunity, there is $3,917,136 available over a three year term with the possibility of eligible costs being renewed through the regular CoC process in the future. Projects must operate in areas of the state defined as Rural by HUD in Appendix to the Notice, and specified in the MCOC RFP.

The Supplemental NOFO requires MCOC to develop a Comprehensive CoC Plan to Serve Individuals and Families Experiencing Homelessness with Severe Service Needs. This Plan, and any Projects submitted under this Notice, must closely align and support each other. Project Applicants must be willing to work in tandem with MCOC to develop this Plan and modify their Application accordingly if need be.

Project Applications must be submitted to MCOC in HUD’s esnaps system no later than 5:00 PM, September 14, 2022. More information is available in the attached documents, but all interested agencies are encouraged to visit HUD website for additional details and instructions:
