Coordinated Entry

Coordinated entry is a consistent, streamlined process for accessing the resources available in the Maine Continuum of Care (MCoC) homeless crisis response system. Through coordinated entry, the MCoC ensures that housing resources and supportive services are used as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is done by quickly assessing individuals and households experiencing homelessness and uniformly connecting them to the housing resource of their choice whenever possible.
